The hotel and the rooms are well designed, everything is new, clean and made with taste. The swimming pool at the top floor is awesome. The hotel is next to nana skytrain station, But still on a very quiet street.
Bad luck for me my room smelled smoke but this would happen in every hotel, the other room my friends had, was perfect
During the stay at the Solo, the staff were exeptional. Polite, friendly and provided an excellent customer service.
The room was very modern and was quite well equipped with most basic items. It was also very handy to have a tuk-tuk to take you to the top of the Soi. It was close to shopping and food venues. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was good to have free wireless internet, and a DVD player to watch movies.
1. My room smelt of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room; 2. It would have been good to have a dedicated computer or two for internet in the lobby, for those guests without their own computer; 3. There was no information available about the pool upstairs - I only found out there was one as I was checking out; 4. The selection of DVDs for watching in your room was very limited.
It is Good hotel for those who want to take high quality service, modern interiors and very good dishes. For us was important location of the hotel: from one side it is in the shopping center of Bangkok, and from the other side it is quite easy to get there from the airport (about 20 min. by taxi by espressway at cost of 250-300 baths)
The hotel is clean and the hotel staff very nice and polite. And especially the bell boy named Johnny,he is very helpful and excellent services. The location very convenient for us,a lot of food stall and the 7 eleven is not far from our hotel.
The fridge is not cold at all.
Good douches and beds. Nice reception design hotel. Topfloor is nice.
We had two firealarms and we where locked in our room. They had to break open the doors. But I feel we where a bid unlucky. Next time pay more to the boedha. Breakfast is poor.
Staff very courteous and polite
Lack of staff training to international standards as mostly international travelers like myself stay in the hotel
Location great, staff excellent, pool good
Breafast could be better, more varied
Perfect service. Very clean. Helpful staff and good location. The food from the restaurant is very good as well.
Only they have golf car to take us to main street
Too much noisy,, and we can hear loud sounds in our room, the servers always knock the door even we are sleep in order to clean but we already put dont distrube,, only one lift ,, the breakfast is boor do not have many choices ,, small hotel, the resturent and resepetion in same hall,, they are cheating to have more mony.
Location: Midway between Ploen Chit and Nana BTS, hotel buggy will drop you at end of Soi 2 to walk final 200m. Soi 4 Nana for night life and bars, 7/11 and street vendors, laundry and tourist restaurants. Services: The beds are the best I've ever slept in. The rain shower is perfect after a day in the heat and hmidity. The a/c is quiet but powerful. Tea & coffee making facilities so no need for breakfast. Staff: Went out of their way to make our week's stay enjoyable. Recommended Thai massage, authentic Thai restaurants, hunted down obscure food stalls, cheerful, friendly and obliging. Even offered to pay for postage on my daughter's birthday card I had forgotten to mail.
Change the carpet in the lift [elevator] It is stained and grubby and gives a poor first impression of what is an excellent boutique hotel in the 'right' part of Bangkok.
they will book for your suite and they will take your money for something you didn't buy for it
It is a beautiful boutique hotel with outstanding, modern design. The rooms are very comfortable and efficiently structured. The hotel staff are very courteous and service-oriented to the extent of going out of their way to help. You can really feel their sincerity. In sum, at Hotel Solo, you get good value for your money.
Pieceful and nice hotel.
room is beautiful but some part is not maintan that good. have the tutu take u to the main street all the time~the hotel mannager is pretty friendly , he even be our driver of the tutu, that's pretty cool n sweet !
we cant have a proper conversation with the staffs sometime~ they cant get us that properly i think or some staff is not that professional on their job. they didnt provied slippers as they said on this webside even after we ask they said they didnt have this kind serve in standard room, but actually we book for Superior Double Room ! but we just feel tired to urge. n the ice is charge for 50 bhat !!!
